Takashi Saito

A native of Japan, Takashi Saito was signed to the Red Sox in early 2009. Prior to joining the Sox, Saito pitched for the LA Dodgers between 2006 and 2008. Saito is known for three strong pitches; a slider ball he uses for strikeouts, a slow curveball, and a strong fastball that often reaches speeds in the high 90's.
