Brad Penny

Prior to being signed by the Red Sox in 2009, Brad Penny was a member of both the Flroida Marlins and the LA Dodgers. In addition to being a strong throwing pitcher, Penny is also a good batter, with a batting average in 2007 of .246. While a member of the Marlins, Penny helped take the 2003 World Series, and was nominated to be a National League All Star teammate in 2006 and 2007.
