Starting his MLB career for the St. Louis Cardinals in 1998, J.D. Drew has been a left handed hitter and right fielder for the Boston Red Sox since 2007. To date, Drew is the only player to participate twice in a string of four straight home runs. Although the start of his 2007 season was a bit rocky with poor numbers, Drew was able to turn it around and ended his year with a batting average of .270. Drew's most current stats include a batting average of .283, 196 home runs and 654 runs batted in. He was a member of the 2007 World Series winning team, selected for the All Star games in 2008, and was voted 2008's MLB All Star Game MVP.
