Curt Schilling
Pitcher

Now retired, Curt Schilling had a long career as a starting pitcher for the Phillies, the Diamondbacks and the Red Sox. At the time of his retirement in 2009, Schilling held the MLB's best post-season record (11-2). Schilling's career with the Red Sox started in 2004 with an impressive record of more than 20 wins in his first season with the team. Despite severe tendon injuries that year, Schilling took Game 6 against the Yankees, clearing the way for the first World Series appearance by the Sox since 1986. Schilling won Game 2 of the World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals with a torn tendon. Today, his blood-soaked sock can be found in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
